This guided bus and walking tour is without doubt one of the best ways for first-time visitors to see Tallinn, weaving through the medieval city and past of its major attractions. The trip takes visitors through the most interesting sections of the city, past the Kadriorg Park and the Song Festival Grounds to the Pirita district, all the while providing running commentary on Estonian history and contemporary life. Your guide will show you all of the sights of the city starting with a coach tour, followed by a walking tour around UNESCO World Heritage-listed Tallinn Old Town.

The tour begins with a scenic drive by luxury coach to the famous Kadriorg Park, home to Baroque-style Kadriorg Palace. After visiting the Palace, the tour continues to the seaside district of Pirita and its harbour, which was built for the 1980 Moscow Olympics sailing regatta and is now an affluent suburb and beach area. It then passes the 600-year-old ruins of Pirita Convent and stops at the Song Festival Grounds, where thousands gather to sing every five years and is now a venue for international performers. All this with commentary on Tallinn's life and history.

The walking part of the tour covers Old Town, proceeding across Toompea Hill, stopping at the Parliament Building, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the Dome Church and the scenic viewpoint. It then leads to the narrow, winding streets of the Lower Town, stopping at the local apothecary, which is the oldest working pharmacy in Europe with records dating back to 1422. You will also discover Town Hall, the only surviving Gothic town hall in Northern Europe, constructed in the early 14th century. This guided coach and walking tour is a great way for first-time visitors to get to know this medieval city!
