The day tour includes the following highlights:
  • Kärdla, capital of Hiiumaa, only city of the island
  • Hill of Crosses- Initially, the people who were leaving the island came to the Hill of Crosses to make their crosses. Today, things are backwards – crosses are made by those who come to the island for the first time
  • Tahkuna Lighthouse, tallest lighthouse in Estonia
  • Kõpu Lighthouse, one of the oldest lighthouses in the world
  • Sääretirp, this unusual name marks the location of a unique headland
  • Sooääre (Soera) farm museum, which was typical XIX century Hiiu household
  • Many beautiful beaches, including Ristna that happens to have largest surfing waves in the Baltic Sea

Estonia's second largest island is a little over 1000 square kilometres and home to less than ten thousand people. Hiiumaa is a huge spa for the soul — breathe fresh air while walking in the forest, let your thoughts wander while you steam in the sauna, or focus on work in a stunning setting for a remote home office.
Nature lovers must not miss the picturesque Kassari Peninsula where Sääretirp, one of Estonia's most romantic places, is located.
Hiiumaa may be small, but it's definitely not sleepy — there is always something interesting going on. Just need to chek it out yourself!
